Great utility!
by chuonthis - Mar 11th 2005 04:41:31
OMG!! I accidentally deleted all of the partitions on a drive that was
dual booting Windows XP and Gentoo and was worried that I had lost
everything. I first tried Active Partition Recovery and after running the
extended scan, no partitions were found. Then I used the version of
Testdisk included in the Ultimate Bootdisk and it instantly found all of
the partitions and recovered them. I was literally back up and running 2
minutes after booting from the CD.
