About:
PhpDig is a Web spider and search engine written
in PHP, using a MySQL database and flat files. It
builds a glossary with words found in indexed static
and dynamic pages. On a search query, it displays
a result page containing the search keys, ranked
by occurrence. It includes a template system and
can index PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
documents using external tools.

Perfekt tool
by Horst Venzke - Feb 15th 2003 10:22:26
I am very satesfied with the phpdig tool.
Im using that
PHPDIG robust, flexible
LAMP based tool now
since >1j.
I only see that the Comercial
Altvista SearchEngine can replace this within more costs to Install, run
and administrate
an Databased Cooperate Searchtool.
Thanks for phpDIG !
